Rickwood Field Game under Negro Leagues’ Lunar Return

The first pitch of the MLB game at Rickwood Field to celebrate the Negro Leagues occured at 6:36 pm on June 20, 2024 while the birthchart of the Negro Leagues was experiencing a lunar return. Moons are the repositories of heritage. As this game was a celebration of history, it is poetic it was played with the Negro Leagues’ Moon in its original position of the zodiac.

Another striking aspect for the first pitch was an MC of 10 degrees, 19 minutes Virgo, an exact conjunction to Saturn in the Negro Leagues chart of 9 degrees 26 minutes Saturn. The placement of Saturn within a birthchart indicates a place of honor or highest acheivement. This game between the Giants and Cardinals in Burmingham Alabama provided exactly that.

My chart for the Negro Leagues is not rectified. On the day of the League’s founding, the Moon at noon was positioned at 14 degrees Sagittarius. When the commemorative game began, the Moon was two degrees further into the sign of Sagittarius. If 14 Sagittarius is the accurate degree, then the exact lunar return would have occurred during the pregame celebrations, fitting hours for the Negro League’s Moon to shine.
