World Series Game Two: Yamamoto!

Posted on October 27, 2025October 29, 2025 By cesarlove
2025 World Series Game Two. Oct 25, 2025 5:00 EDT Toronto

In Game Two, the LA Dodgers birthchart received a strong transit to their Mercury, but not strong enough by itself to bring such a dominant performance from a pitcher. Mercury indicates the pitcher in the birthchart of a team. The LA birthchart has a natal Mercury at 20 degrees Pisces. At the start of the game, the Dodgers’ Mercury received a challenging square from the Moon in transit at 20 Sagittarius. Such a challenging aspect can upend a Mercury in a mutable sign such as Pisces, but the Dodgers Mercury is resilient. Yushinobu Yamamoto struggled in the first inning but soon found his mojo and became completely effective retiring the 20 last batters.

Los Angeles Dodgers April 1, 1874 10:30 am PST Los Angeles

Yamamoto’s own birthchart and transits are revealing.  As Mercury rules the pitcher, Yamamoto has a well-placed Mercury. Indeed, his Mercury and Sun are conjunct in the sign of Leo. His birthchart also has Mars at 28 Cancer trine to Jupiter at 27 Pisces. The 2025 World Series is being played under a grand trine in water signs: Saturn in Pisces, Jupiter in Cancer, and Mars and Mercury in Scorpio is primed to reap the benefits of this grand trine. Jupiter in transit is conjunct his Mars; Saturn in transit is conjunct to his Jupiter; while Mercury and Mars in Scorpio are trine to both his Mars and Jupiter. In Game 2, the trine from Mercury at 26 Scorpio was Yamamoto’s most vital aspect. Transits from Mercury to a pitcher’s chart enhance one’s precision and durability. Yamamoto gave up no walks and thew only 105 pitches in a nine-inning complete game.
