Warriors Season Ends on Rough Saturn Aspects

The Golden State Warriors ended their tumultuous 2023-2024 season under difficult transits from Saturn in Pisces. The Warriors lost a play-in to the Sacramento Kings on April 16 with Saturn positioned at 15 degrees Pisces exactly square to the Warriors Sun of 15 degrees Gemini and also opposite within a degree to the Warriors Moon of 15 Virgo. The 23-24 season included a series of Saturn struggles as Draymond Greene was often suspended and players such as Stephan Curry and Clay Thompson began showing their age. Saturn brings the limitations of authority figures imposing punishment and the inevitable breakdowns of human bodies as they grow older.

The Wariors also suffered under the transit of Pluto in conjunction to their Descendant of 1 degree Aquarius. This rough Pluto transit brought the death of Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojevic. Conjunctions to a Descendant also bring oppositions to an Ascendant and here it brought identity issues. The Warriors employed different starting line ups in 23-24 as roles were often shifted while Greene was suspended and Clay Thompson’s playing time was reduced.

I have not located a date of birth for the Sacramento Kings but my speculation is that the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction is making a favorable aspect to their birthchart. This aspect may signal a changing of the guard in the basketball hierarchy of Northern California as the team from the less-known city of Sacramento knocked out the perennial contender Warriors of San Francisco. Uranus favors upstarts and rebels against established teams such as the Warriors.
