Air Sign Mariners Stop Games for Bad Air

In this season of strange stoppages, the Mariners did not play their home games of Sept 15 and 16 due to bad air from the fires in the Pacific Northwest. The Mariners’s birthchart has a grand trine in the air element: the Sun in Aquarius, Mars in Gemini, and Pluto in Libra. With so much air in the birthchart, it is poetic that the Mariners would not play when the sky in Seattle became smoky.

The transit that triggered these stoppage was a square between Venus in Leo and Uranus in Taurus. Leo is a fixed fire sign and represents the out of control fires in the Northwest region. Uranus is in Taurus, the sign of forrests. These transiting planets are opposite and square to the Mariners’ natal Uranus in Scorpio, a key planet for the Mariners since it is the despositor of their Aquarius Sun.

In addition, the Mariners’ have been suffering under the transit of Saturn square to Mars. Saturn at 23 Capricorn has been conjunct to the Mariners’ Mercury. Mars, meanwhile, is in station at at 28 degrees Aries, which is exacty conjunct to the Mariners’ Moon. Transits to a team’s Moon affect the home ballpark and its city. Mars in the fire sign of Aries is bringing the devastating heat and fire to the Northwest.
