Game Six: Mookie Answers Mars Challenge

Mookie Betts: 2 RBI’s Oct. 31, 2025 8:55 pm EDT Toronto

By his own admission, Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts had been “playing terrible” throughout the World Series. Indeed, his batting average was low. At times, Ohtani, just ahead of him in the lineup, was walked because Betts was perceived as an easy out. In Game Six, the Dodgers shortstop would be challenged by an aspect to the Dodgers birthchart. The Sun at 8 Scorpio was directly opposite to the Dodgers Mars of 8 Taurus. (Mars rules the shortstop position.) Such a challenging opposition would have upended a player of weaker character, but Betts showed his grit. At bat in the third inning, with two runners on base, he hit a single to score both runners. These runs would prove to be the difference as the Dodgers won Game Six by 3 to 1 score.

Dodgers’ left fielder Kiki Hernandez also rose to a challenging transit. A left fielder is represented by Uranus in a team’s birthchart, and the Dodgers’ Uranus is positioned at 6 degrees Leo. In Game Six, the Sun in transit at 8 degrees Scorpio formed a square aspect to the Dodgers’ Uranus.  The game would end with Kiki Hernandez making an outstanding, intelligent play. He chased down a line drive from Andres Gimenez, almost losing the ball in the lights, and made a throw to double off Addison Barger at second base to end Game Six.  If he had misplayed the ball, Toronto would likely have scored two runs and tied the score. Since it was the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blue Jays would have been primed to walk off the World Series.

Instead Kiki responded to the challenging square.
